Black-Eyed Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 chopped green bell pepper
    1 large tomato, peeled and chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 green onions, sliced
    1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian salad dressing
    3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
    3 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Combine peas, celery, pepper, tomato, garlic, 2 onions, mushrooms, pimento and salad dressing.
    Cover and chill at least 8 hours, stirring once in awhile.
    Drain and spoon into lettuce lined bowl.
    Garnish with bacon bits and onions.
