Ingredients

3 c. figs, cut in quarters
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. melted butter
pinch of ginger
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Place figs in pie shell.
Mix other ingredients and pour over figs.
Bake in preheated oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes more.
