Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. crushed pecans
Preparation

Melt butter, add sugar, then egg; beat well.
Add vanilla and flour.
Stir well.
Add pecans, refrigerate for 1 hour.
Slice in thin slices, place on greased pan.
Do not let touch.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 until begins to brown around edges.
