Sage Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour, sifted
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sage
    2 Tbsp. mild cheese, grated
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 2/3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder
    and salt into bowl.\tStir in sage and cheese.
    Cut
    in
    margarine with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
    Sprinkle
    water
    over\ttop;
    mix
    lightly until dough holds together and leaves sides of bowl.
    Roll out on lightly floured pastry
    board
    in
    9
    x
    5-inch
    rectangle. Divide into 3 x 1/2-inch strips.\tTwist and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at
    425\u00b0 for 5 to 6 minutes or until light golden
    brown.
    Great snacks.
    Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen.
