Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    8 oz. can mushrooms (optional)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in butter.
    Add meat; brown.
    Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add soup; simmer 10 minutes.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Heat through.
    Do not boil.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
    Serve plain or over noodles or rice.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
