Grandma'S Sauerkraut And Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground pork roast
    1 egg
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. Minute rice or leftover rice
    1 or 2 cans (or jars) sauerkraut
    water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except sauerkraut and form into 2-inch
    meatballs.\tLayer
    sauerkraut
    and\tmeatballs
    in large soup pot.
    Add
    1
    can (or jar) of water for each can or jar of sauerkraut added.
    Bring to
    a
    boil, then\tsimmer\tfor 2 1/2 hours.
    Serve with fluffy mashed potatoes.
