Pork Chop-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork chops (good size), well trimmed
1 c. thinly sliced onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. converted rice
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Place chops in bottom of flat 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with half of the onions, salt and pepper.
Spread rice over onions.
Add mushrooms with juice.
Cover with chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle with remaining onions, salt, pepper and the sugar.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
