Mrs. Gladys Howard'S Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter plus 1 Tbsp.
    6 eggs (large or jumbo)
    2 c. flour
    flavoring as desired
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add first three eggs, one at a time, then
    add 1 cup of flour.
    Repeat.\tPour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
