Smothered Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 medium onion
    salt and pepper
    flour
    2 to 3 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Trim steak and cut in serving pieces.
    Salt and pepper; coat with
    flour
    on
    both
    sides.
    Brown quickly in hot oil. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch shallow pan.
    Do not have more than 2
    layers. Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice over
    top. Sift
    4 tablespoons flour over meat.
    Pour boiling water over meat, be sure to moisten all the flour.
    Cover with aluminum foil or\ttight lid and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 8 to 10. (Note:
    deer meat can also be used.)
