Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook water, sugar and white syrup until it spins like thread and is light brown.
    Add peanuts.
    When peanuts begin to pop, add butter, vanilla and soda.
    Pour onto greased cookie sheet and cool.
    Break into pieces when cold.
    This keeps well.
