Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix
    butter and milk together in medium saucepan.
    Heat to scalding.
    Beat
    eggs
    slightly
    and add sugar and vanilla. Stir into the milk and strain into a 9-inch pie pan.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Turn oven temperature down to
    375\u00b0
    and
    continue
    baking for an additional 10 minutes. Brush
    the
    crust
    with
    unbeaten
    egg
    white before adding custard mixture.
