Apple-Raisin Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. chopped apple
    1/3 c. dark raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
    Make well in center.
    Stir together buttermilk, applesauce, egg whites and oil in a small bowl.
    Pour this mixture into well of dry ingredients.
    Stir just until evenly moistened; do not overmix.
    Divide batter evenly into 12 muffin cups.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool muffins on wire rack.
