Grandma'S Knishes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake or pkg. yeast
    3 to 4 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. water (warm)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    All ingredients are to be at room temperature.
    Dissolve yeast in two tablespoons warm water.
    Mix 2 cups of flour with remaining ingredients.
    Add yeast mixture.
    Up to this point, a mixer can be used.
    Add 1 1/2 cups of the remaining flour.
    Allow mixture to stand for an hour.
    (It may be refrigerated.)
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
