Vinegar Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel (optional)
    3 egg yolks, beaten
Preparation
    Blend water with vinegar and cornstarch.
    Bring to a boil and let thicken.
    Stir in sugar, butter, flavoring, peel and egg yolks.
    Pour into a 9-inch baked pastry shell and let cool completely.
