Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 bananas, sliced
1 1/2 sticks oleo (room temperature)
1 (No. 2) can pineapple, drained
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 large container Cool Whip
1 small jar cherries, chopped
1 small pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt 1 stick oleo and add to cracker crumbs.
Make crust by placing in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan or dish.
Mix 1/2 stick of oleo, cream cheese and powdered sugar; beat for 15 minutes with electric mixer.
Spread over crumbs.
Add the following in layers: bananas, cream cheese, pineapple, Cool Whip and cherries.
One cup nuts may be sprinkled on top, if desired.
Refrigerate or put in freezer 24 hours before serving.
It will last longer if, after serving, you put leftovers in freezer.
