Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
5 bananas
3 sticks non-whipped margarine
2 eggs
1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained
2 c. powdered sugar
1 large Cool Whip
1 c. chopped nuts
1 small can Hershey's syrup
maraschino cherries (2 doz.)
Preparation

Melt 1 stick margarine and mix with wafers.
Pat on bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan. Beat eggs, remaining butter and sugar for 15 minutes. Spread over crust. Slice bananas in 1/2-inch lengthwise portions and place in mixture. Spread pineapple over bananas, then cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts, drizzle syrup over top and top with cherries.
Refrigerate. Serve cool.
