1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter in a large mixer bowl.
Gradually add sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, milk and vanilla.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually combine dry ingredients to butter mixture; mix well.
Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour or until thoroughly chilled.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
