Mrs. Britton'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. white Karo corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves or pieces
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar with spoon, then add the eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add the salt and syrup to butter mixture and cook over hot water for 5 minutes.
    Then add vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
