Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light and smooth.
    Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda together.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Then add buttermilk.
    Add dry ingredients alternately, beating after each addition.
    Fold in bananas and pecans.
    Cook in layers at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
