Make-Ahead Cookie Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter
1 Tbsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
6 c. flour
Preparation

In a very large bowl, combine butter, salt and baking powder. Using an electric mixer, blend well.
To measure flour, lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off (do not scoop or sift flour).
Add flour to butter mixture; blend until fine crumbs form, scraping bowl often.
Store in refrigerator in tightly covered container up to 4 weeks.
Makes 8 cups of mix - use for any of the variations to follow:
