Buttermilk Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Mix ingredients together, beating well. Place iron skillet on top of stove.
    Pour in some Crisco and heat. When hot, remove from heat, then pour in cornbread batter and bake until done.
