Hominy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans hominy
    2 (4 oz.) cans green chilis
    1/2 stick butter or oleo
    1 (8 oz.) tub sour cream
    2 c. shredded cheese (I use Cheddar)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Drain hominy.
    Generously butter a 3-quart casserole dish. Layer ingredients as follows:
    hominy, green chilis, salt and pepper.
    Dot with sour cream and butter.
    Repeat layer, ending with a layer of hominy.
    Dot top with butter and pour the cream over top.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serve hot.
