Sweet Pastry Shells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    4 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of superfine sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and rub in the butter.
    Add the egg yolk and enough water to bind to a firm dough.
    Roll out thinly and stamp out 2-inch circles with a fluted pastry cutter. Press into tiny patty pans and chill for 30 minutes.
    Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0.
    Fill each pastry case with a crumpled piece of aluminum foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Remove the foil halfway through baking to allow the pastry shells to dry out and become crisp and golden brown.
