Norwegian Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. diced apples
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Beat egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy.
    Beat in flour until smooth and well blended.
    Stir in walnuts and apples.
    Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate and bake 30 minutes.
    Pie will puff up as it cooks, then collapse as it cools.
    Serve topped with whipped dessert topping or ice milk.
