Vanilla Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. milk
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan, add milk.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick.
    Beat a small amount into egg yolk, stir into hot mixture.
    Cook and stir 1 minute.
    Add vanilla and cool.
    Whip cream and fold into cooled pudding.
