Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 eggs
    2 large tsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk or 1 c. milk and 1 tsp. vinegar, mix and leave in c.
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and eggs.
    In a separate bowl mix cocoa and red food coloring.
    Mix these into a paste and then add vanilla, salt, buttermilk or milk and vinegar mixture.
    Then alternate between flour and buttermilk mixture.
    Pour into other bowl.
    Then add baking soda and fold in vinegar.
    Do not beat after added.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes in a greased pan.
