Old Faithful - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium thick lamb or pork chops or chicken pieces
1 c. raw rice
1 can soup (consomme or cream of chicken, mushroom or asparagus soup)
favorite spices (such as marjoram, thyme, garlic or savory)
1 large onion
2 ripe tomatoes or canned tomatoes, drained
1/2 green pepper
2 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
Preparation

Brown the meat in the oil.
While browning, spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
Put the rice in the bottom.
Over this, lay the sliced vegetables.
Next, layer the meat.
Over the meat you can place some more of the sliced vegetables.
Mix the soup with 1 can of water and pour over the meat and vegetables.
Cover and let it fend for itself in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
