Quick Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Mexican cornbread mix
    less than 1 c. water
    1 can tamales
    1 can chili
    green chilies (optional)
    grated Cheddar cheese
    2 lb. stew meat, cut in 1-inch sq.
    1 onion, coarsely chopped
    1 c. celery, cut in diagonal pieces
    1 lb. can tomatoes with juice
    1 slice white bread, crumbled
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    6 carrots, cut into pieces
    2 large potatoes, cut in cubes
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix all together and place in Dutch oven or heavy baking dish with tight fitting lid.
    Place in oven at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours. Equally as easy for the man of the house to prepare!
