Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Stir beaten egg into corn.
    Add butter, flour, milk and sugar. Stir well and season to taste.
    Drop by spoonfuls one at a time in boiling oil.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Remove fritters from grease.
    Drain.
    Serve white hot.
