Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced (3 c.)
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    For Sauce:
    Cook onion in margarine until tender.
    Stir in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper.
    Add milk all at once.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
