Dilly Casserole Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dried instant minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, soften yeast in warm water.
    Add cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, baking soda and egg.
    Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
    Stir dough down.
    Turn into well-greased loaf pan or round casserole dish.
    Cover; let rise in a warm place until light, about 45 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Turn out onto wire rack.
    Brush with butter.
