Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dill pickles, cut in fourths
    1 c. juice
    2 lb. sugar (4 c.)
    2 sticks cinnamon, broken small
    garlic, cut in slices
    1/2 tsp. whole mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. whole cloves
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put in refrigerator, covered.
    Stir every day for 3 days.
    Put in clean jars.
