Play Dough(Makes Large Batch) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. salt
4 c. water
8 drops food coloring
1/4 c. oil
4 tsp. cream of tartar (if desired)

Preparation

Place all ingredients in large saucepan.
Cook and stir constantly over medium heat until a soft dough forms; dough will begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Cool.
Knead until smooth. Store in a covered container.
