Poppy Seed Filling For Kolaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. ground poppy seed
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 stick margarine
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Mix flour in sugar.
Heat milk in pot and when it boils add remaining
ingredients and cook slowly until it thickens. Cool well.
When making poppy seed kolaches, instead of making balls, spread
the
golf ball size dough out flat and oblong. Place about 1 heaping teaspoonful of filling in center.
Bring the
dough
up to enclose the filling and pinch dough together making
an
oblong roll.
Put
pinched side of kolache to the greased
pan.
Brush lightly with melted margarine.
Let rise in a
warm place.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 or 20 minutes.
While warm, brush with melted margarine.
Sprinkle with some sugar.
