Hot Fruit Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can sliced peaches
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
    1 (No. 2) can pear halves
    1 (14 oz.) jar apple rings
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sherry (not cooking sherry)
    1/2 stick margarine or butter, melted
Preparation
    Drain fruit, saving juice from peaches, pineapple and apple rings to make 2 cups. Add cornstarch, sugar, sherry and butter to juice and cook until thickened. Arrange fruits attractively in a long casserole in layers. Pour thickened sauce over all and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with any meat. Serves 8 to 10.
