Soy-Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. soy flour
    1 1/3 c. white flour
    2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. dry milk
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. water
    1 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift together soy and white flour, baking powder, soda, salt, sugar and dry milk.
    Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
    Add and mix just until moistened the egg, water, mashed bananas and chopped nuts.
    Spread in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake 50 minutes.
    Remove loaf from pan to cool. Delicious warm or toasted.
    Makes 1 loaf.
