Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. soda in 1/2 c. buttermilk
3 1/2 c. flour
1 lb. dates, cut in pieces
1 can Angel Flake coconut
2 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. orange slices, chopped in pieces

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Roll nuts, orange slice pieces and dates in flour.
Mix flour mixture and all other ingredients and add creamed batter.
Pour into large baking pan or Pyrex dish and bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
