Icicle Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 gal. pickles
1 gal. boiling water
1 pt. salt
chunk of alum
2 1/2 qt. vinegar
8 pt. sugar
1 handful mixed spices
Preparation

1st Step:
Cover with brine made of 1 gallon of boiling water and salt.
Let stand 1 week.
