Secret Kiss Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo, melted
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) bag Hershey's milk chocolate Kisses
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and nuts; beat on low speed of mixer until well blended.
    Cover, refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.
    Remove wrappers from candy.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Use 1 tablespoon dough for each cookie, shape dough around candy; roll to make ball.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes until cookies are set but not brown.
    Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
    Cool completely.
    Store in tightly covered container.
    Roll again in powdered sugar just before serving.
    Yields 3 dozen cookies.
