Red Rice With Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, diced
1 large green pepper, diced
1 stick margarine
6 oz. tomato paste
4 cans water
2 c. long grain rice
1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced, fried and drained
Preparation

Saute 1st three ingredients.
Add tomato paste and water; bring to a boil.
Add rice and stir well.
Add sausage.
Stir and bring to a slow boil.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Halfway through cooking time, stir and add water, if necessary.
