Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sour milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 well ripened bananas, well mashed
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add sour milk to which soda has been added.
Mix well.
Add sifted flour and mix well again. Fold in mashed bananas and chopped pecans.
Turn batter into 2 loaf pans and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
