Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium potatoes (about 2 lb.)
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling
    water until tender.
    Peel and cut into 1/4-inch strips;
    set
    aside.
    Combine 1/4 cup margarine and next 5 ingredients
    in a large bowl.
    Mix thoroughly. Pour this mixture over potatoes
    in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle cheese on top, then mix
    1/4
    cup
    margarine
    melted with herb seasoned stuffing (about 1 1/2
    cups) on top of cheese.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 people.
