Black-Eyed Pea Soup With Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 garlic pod
    1 pkg. black-eyed peas
    1 1/2 onions, diced
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1 stalk celery, diced
    1/4 c. salt pork
    1 lb. ham, diced big
    couple scallion stems
    1/2 can tomato sauce (small size)
Preparation
    Saute onions, celery, green pepper, garlic, pork and ham.
    Add to black-eyed peas after boiling about 5 minutes.
    Simmer until black-eyed peas are done.
    Serve with white rice as side dish.
