Hamburger Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 c. macaroni
    2 pt. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 onion
    1 (1 lb.) can tomato juice
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
    crushed cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Cook macaroni in water with salt; drain and add 1/2 teaspoon salt, meat and remaining ingredients, except cracker crumbs.
    Place in casserole and cover with crumbs.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Mushrooms may be added if desired.
    Yields 6 servings.
