Ground Beef Pot Pie - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 C. celery, sliced
1 C. frozen peas
1 C. carrots, thinly sliced
2 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 pkg. Pillsbury biscuits
1/2 C. shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation

Saute ground sirloin, onion and garlic in non-stick skillet. Add celery, peas, carrots, 1 can of tomato sauce, salt and worcestershire sauce; simmer 15 minutes. Pour mixture into casserole dish. Arrange eight of the biscuits around the edge of the dish. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top of the biscuits. Pour remaining can of tomato sauce over the biscuits and casserole. Bake in 400 degree oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until biscuits are lightly golden.
