Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. sliced cukes
    2 c. sliced onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Let the cukes, onions and salt stand for 3 hours; do not drain.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Do not heat; mix well. Put in 1-gallon covered containers.
    Refrigerate.
