Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation

Allow butter to stand in medium mixing bowl at room temperature until soft.
Add sugar, syrup, salt and vanilla.
Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Add eggs and beat gently until blended. Fold in pecans.
Pour into 9-inch pastry shell.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven on the rack directly below center rack until top is toasted brown and filling is set in center when pie is gently shaken (40 to 50 minutes).
