Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese or grate your own as I do
    3/4 c. chopped onion or onion flakes (shake few)
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small garlic (optional)
    1 1/2 c. corn flakes or Pepperidge Farm dressing
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Mix
    all ingredients except dressing and melted butter. Grease 9

    x 2 1/2-inch deep dish and put in potato mixture.
    Mix dressing and 1/2 cup melted butter and spread over potato mixture.
