Currant Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 stick margarine or butter
    5 oz. sugar
    1 level Tbsp. syrup
    6 oz. milk (room temperature)
    8 oz. currants
Preparation
    All ingredients are to be added one at a time and blended well.
    Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
