Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; cut in shortening.
    Add milk and mix quickly until it holds together. Drop by teaspoonfuls in 5 cups boiling broth or stock.
    Cook 10 minutes, uncovered, and 10 minutes covered.
